When you join or renew your PMA membership, your annual dues go directly back into our district music programs in the form of staff and student support, scholarships, instruments, uniforms, and so much more. Members also receive special benefits, such as our monthly members’ e-newsletter delivered straight to your inbox and student eligibility for various scholarship opportunities.

Annual Membership
When you join or renew today, your dues go directly back into our district music programs. Annual Memberships are just $12 per year, but your dollars make a huge impact.
Annual Membership is open to all, including District 153 families, alumni, staff, and community members who want to support music in our schools.
Lifetime Membership
Less hassle, same support. Join PMA as a Lifetime Member and you’ll never have to renew again! Your one-time dues will carry your membership all the way through your child’s 8th grade graduation and beyond.
Lifetime Membership is open to all, including District 153 families, alumni, staff, and community members who want to support music in our schools.
Attend a Meeting
All are invited to attend our monthly meetings and learn more about PMA!
Meetings are held virtually via Zoom and start at 6:00 pm.

Volunteer
If you want to step up and get more involved, we’d love to have you! We can always use more volunteers and have a variety of roles and work available, depending on your time, skills, and interests.
PMA volunteers:
table at community events to get the word out about PMA
help run fundraisers and sell sweets at student concerts
serve as parent chaperones for events, concerts, performances, and trips to contests across the Chicagoland region
help us promote district music programs to the larger community
serve on the PMA Board of Directors and sub-committees

PMA is a 100% volunteer-run organization and your donation is tax-deductible. We welcome donations year-round and every dollar we receive is used to support music education in the district.
